Eric Spindt, CEO of Commonwealth Financial Group (CFG), is responsible for guiding CFG's evolution into a prominent financial planning firm. A thought leader in the industry, Eric instills a unique philosophy, portraying financial planning as an immersive and ongoing experience, distinguishing CFG. Beyond steering the firm's strategic direction, Eric’s leadership fosters a culture of development and growth. He has doubled CFG’s advisor count and expanded the firm’s geographical footprint across New England.

Dedicated to the special needs community, Eric chairs the board for Special Olympics Massachusetts and co-founded BioBall, a charity basketball tournament raising over $4.5 million since 2005. Additionally, he supports Special Olympics through annual participation in the Boston Marathon.

Eric is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) practitioner and holds the Chartered Leadership Fellow® (CLF®), having earned his Bachelor's Degree from Brandeis University. During his free time, he enjoys family moments and outdoor activities, such as skiing, playing golf, and going for runs.
