CFG Employees Volunteer at Gillette Stadium Event
Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company’s ADAPT BRG – the division at the company that is dedicated to promoting disability and inclusion – sponsored the annual Flag Football Tournament at Gillette Stadium on Saturday, November 17 to benefit the Special Olympics of Massachusetts. A good showing of CFG employees participated as part of MassMutual's support, volunteering as scorekeepers, time-keepers and game announcers during the full day of competitions.
Eric Spindt, Managing Partner of CFG, remarked: "We were honored to again participate in support of this fun-filled competition. There are many causes and events the CFG community supports, but this Special Olympics of Massachusetts tournament notably ranks as one of the top for bringing us all together. The athletes' spirit of competition and teamwork are an inspiration to us all. We congratulate all the athletes and thank everyone for their involvement."
2018 marks the 50th Year of the Special Olympics. The Flag Football and Cheerleading State Tournament is the final tournament of New England’s fall season and the culmination of three months of training and teamwork. Teams from Massachusetts and Rhode Island competed for the gold medal.
