At CFG, philanthropy isn’t just something we do – it’s a vital part of who we are. Over the past year, we’ve strengthened our commitment to making a difference in our communities through hands-on volunteer work and charitable giving. In 2024 alone, our team dedicated over 250 hours to causes close to our hearts and helped raise tens of thousands of dollars, including:
$35,000+ in grants through the MassMutual Foundation
$4,500+ through CFG Cares donation matching program
Support through volunteer and sponsorship for Bio-Ball and Rally 2 Give. Together, these organizations collectively raised an impressive nearly $1 million
These efforts reflect our unwavering dedication to giving back and making a lasting impact.
The MassMutual Foundation has been instrumental in supporting our firm and advisors’ charitable endeavors. This year, Gnome Surf, Chill Foundation, and Friends of Jack were all recipients of the Foundation’s Community Service Awards. These partnerships, fostered through strategic grant and recognition programs, empower our advisors to extend their impact even further.
This year, we also offered quarterly volunteer activities, encouraging our advisors and staff to step out of the office and into the community:
Q1: Partnered with Boston Cares to build 10 beds for families experiencing homelessness.
Q2: Participated in Special Olympics Massachusetts’ annual Bio-Ball basketball tournament, teaming up with Special Olympics athletes to celebrate sportsmanship and teamwork.
Q3: Joined The Greater Boston Food Bank during Hunger Action Month, sorting 8,640 pounds of food and assembling 7,200 meals for families in need.
Q4: Sponsored Rally 2 Give’s eighth annual rally, where advisors and staff actively participated, with all proceeds supporting organizations dedicated to the special needs community and youth development. Additionally, we hosted a toy drive for the New Hampshire Santa Fund and helped parents select gifts for their children.
