Jerry began his career in the financial services industry in 2007 at National Financial Partners (NFP), where he spent more than a decade; most recently serving as Director of Executive Benefits. During his time at NFP, Jerry was a crucial resource to small and mid-sized companies, working closely with senior leadership to ensure those key to the organizations’ success had proper retirement and protection planning in place. Additionally, he would work with these groups to design and implement executive attraction and retention strategies tailored to fit each client’s unique culture and benefit philosophy.
Following his time at NFP, Jerry joined CFG Brokerage Network, the brokerage division of Commonwealth Financial Group (CFG). During his time at CFG Brokerage Network, Jerry worked closely with financial planners nationwide as a strategic partner offering advanced financial planning solutions. Then, in early 2019, Jerry decided to start his own planning practice with CFG, where he can better leverage his expertise and CFG’s resources to deliver industry-leading, comprehensive financial planning to his personal and corporate clients.
Jerry’s practice focuses on helping successful individuals and their families reach their maximum financial potential. This is accomplished by taking clients through a process that gives them control of their financial future, through sound, comprehensive, and ongoing financial planning. In addition to his work with individuals, Jerry continues to leverage his many years of experience in the Executive Benefits market to help organizations address retirement, protection, and retention planning needs within the C-suite.
Jerry has been a Member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) since 2020. MDRT is a global, independent association of the world’s leading life insurance and financial services professionals, and he also holds a Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®) designation; an indication of in-depth knowledge in the areas of life insurance law within the context of risk management, as well as the necessary knowledge to help clients address both estate and business planning needs. He is also a member of NAIFA Massachusetts.
Outside of work, Jerry stays very busy spending time with his wife Darcy and their four young children, where they live on the South Shore of Boston. When he does find some free time, Jerry enjoys catching up on local sports teams, playing golf, and doing anything near or on the water.
